In the spirit of the holiday season, The Drake Sweet Foundation is raffling off TWO FREE FREEDIVING CLASSES at our December 1 Safety Seminar!
Two lucky winners will receive a freediving class with one of two seasoned freedivers and spearfishermen, Bill Van Deman or Danyar.
Our safety seminars are about bringing awareness and education to the freediving and spearfishing community, but we also want to encourage divers to take that important next step. These classes will give two people the opportunity to go from learning about safety at our seminars to getting in the water and receiving hands-on training from an experienced instructor.

Apnea & Breathwork For Spearfishing & Human Performance
Where traditional Apnea Instruction has focused on Competitive Freediving, veteran spearfisherman Bill Van Deman is focused on Applied Apnea- a Task Based & Human Performance centered approach. From operating environments of elite underwater hunters, pro athletes, operators, sports and corporate team building to "real world" in water response, Bill has trained countless divers on FL's Gulf coast and beyond. Bill has supplied subject matter expertise for military, fire, TV & Film applications.
Free Diving & Spearfishing Safety Courses
We believe that everyone in the spearfishing and free diving community should have access to proper safety training. These classes are designed to help divers stay safe in the water and take responsibility for those they dive with.
To support that mission, we offer scholarship opportunities to help make these courses more accessible.
